Q. I don’t want to sell my valuables, can I get a Loan?
A. Yes. You don’t have to sell your items. We are happy to provide a collateral or pawn loan on most items of value including most jewelry, coins and even gold or silver bullion, firearms, tools, musical instruments, newer electronics plus much more.
Q. What exactly is a pawn?
A. A pawn is when the pawner or pledgor uses personally owned valuables as collateral to get a loan from a pawn broker. The pawn broker then holds the collateral for the legal amount of time and the pawner may buy back the valuables for the amount of the original loan plus interest and fees which are all governed by the State of Washington. Or the pawner may choose to renew or extend the loan by paying the renewal amount.
A. There are several factors that go into the value of your gold. First of all the market price of gold, silver and platinum changes daily, which we watch closely, the higher the market price of gold is, the more we can pay. The second thing is the weight, the more you have the more we can pay. The last thing is the purity, again the higher the purity the more we can pay. For example we pay more for 14kt gold than for 10kt gold.
A. When we buy jewelry we separate it by karat quality i.e. 10kt, 14kt etc. If a piece is not marked we have several definitive tests we can do to determine the karat quality of the piece. We do this so we can pay the most we can for the gold you have.
A. Grams are part of the metric system and pennyweights are part of the US weights and measurements system. There are 31.10348 grams in a troy ounce and 20 pennyweight in a troy ounce. We use grams.
A. We do not buy gold plated items but we do buy gold filled items. Keep in mind that the gold content in gold filled items is very minimal.
Q. Do you loan money on firearms?
A. Yes, we have a pawn license and a Federal Firearms License and we can buy-sell and loan money on firearms.
Q. Do you do internet or private party firearm transfers?
A. Yes we do. Currently the cost is $25 for NON SEMI-AUTO RIFLES AND SHOTGUNS AND $40 for PISTOLS AND SEMI-AUTO RIFLES
